For My Loved Ones |
|
| |
When life's last breath on earth I breathe and this old body dies-- I've just moved to a higher plane: my home up in the skies.
Yes, tears may fall when I am gone--I know that you'll miss me Because we loved each other here, but I have been set free.
These bars of bone could not withstand the call from Heaven's door-- So I have gone where I shall rest to wait you on that shore. |

"O Peace, Sweet Peace!" My soul shall cry when on that shore I shall arrive. No pain nor sorrow, no more fears as I await you through the years.
However long we are apart, we're still together in the heart; So long as memory lasts, you'll see--I'm just as close as close can be.
So don't be fearful when comes your time, And you, too, leave this world behind. For I've been waiting, knowing soon You'd take your flight above the moon.
Then with Jesus we'll ever be--together, forever, eternally. |
