Move On Up
Move on up, get a little closer, "Come and dine," the table's spread. Move on up, get a little closer, there's room for all to be fed By the One Who turned the water to wine and fed the multitude: Move on up, get a little closer, there's plenty of room for you! Now don't sit there 'way in the back, move up and let's rejoice. The Savior wants to hear your praise, move up and lift your voice! Move forward, let the Spirit flow, your life it will renew; There'll be no doubt you have received, t'will fill you through and through. Get off that back seat, come on up and draw nigh to the Lord. The Spirit will o'erflow your cup: we'll be in one accord. We've come to worship and adore our Savior and our King. Get off that back seat, move on up and let the heavens ring!
Move forward in your worship place, come on! Move up a ways! Get closer to the crimson tide, lift up your voice in praise! A blessing is in store for you, move up and take a seat-- Get closer to the rushing wind, it's Grace and joy complete! Be sure there's one thing on your mind when you get in that pew: A blessing you have come to get, just being there won't do! Stand up! Rejoice! Lift up those hands, you will not be denied. Move on up, get a little closer: He's risen, He's alive! Stand up and shout, move closer still, there's nothing now to fear. You're in the presence of the Lord, He sees you drawing near.
